2-13-26   THOUGHTS  

We sing a song, “The Joy Of  The Lord”.  We read in verse 15 below, “How blessed are the people who know the joyful sound!”  In Ps 51:12a  David begs... “Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation;”.  The sense of this JOY comes from Who God Is, and what He has done for us! Ps 35:27 ESV   Let those who delight in my righteousness shout for joy and be glad and say evermore, "Great is the LORD, who delights in the welfare of his servant!"  We each belong to “The Holy One of Israel...”  In another song, the Joyful Sound is that Jesus Saves!”  

Ps 89:13-18    You have a strong arm; Your hand is mighty, Your right hand is exalted.  14  Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; Lovingkindness and truth go before You. 15  How blessed are the people who know the joyful sound! O LORD, they walk in the light of Your countenance.  16  In Your name they rejoice all the day, And by Your righteousness they are exalted.   17  For You are the glory of their strength, And by Your favor our horn is exalted. 18  For our shield belongs to the LORD,  And our king to the Holy One of Israel.

Our Prayer:
We pray, O Father, that each of us truly knows the joyful sound that comes from You through Christ Jesus.  Help us to share that joy with each other, and with the world we live in.  May we always walk in the light of Your countenance. Shield us from the darkness of this world, O God.
Bless our day, and help us to be present with You as we walk.  We pray in our Savior,   Amen.
